You can make a monthly, or a one-time donation via PayPal. Your donation will help us to maintain Total Technik and continue to bring our viewers quality content!
Don’t have a PayPal account? That’s no problem, you don’t actually need one to make a payment with PayPal! Simply insert your card details as you would with any online payment to checkout as a guest - no PayPal account is needed! PayPal is 100% safe & secure and accepts all major credit and debit cards.
The simple fact of the matter is that without the support of people who like to watch the content we produce (that’s you!) then Total Technik simply could not exist!
We take a lot of pride in what we do and we are wholly self-funded. We put in literally hundreds of work-hours in to the planning, filming, editing, uploading, procesing and marketing of our video content each year, all in the sincere hope that the content we produce will be enjoyable to our viewers, and - equally as importantly - save them money!
Regardless of whether you are able to donate $2 or $20,000 you are now officially a part of Total Technik, and a part in its future success.
Your donate will help to support:
We sincerely thank you for your generosity. Let’s hit the road....
The answer to that question cannot be answered by us as people kindly donate for various different reasons!
We know that some people donate as they appreciate the time, effort and expense that goes in providing our content - the majority of which is supplied completely free of charge - and want to continue to see more of our content in the future and so support us that way.
Other people balance the money saved against the money donated. For example, we recently had a guy who had had a quote for $650 for a repair, but instead used our video’s to undertake the work himself paying only $150 for the parts, and saving himself a pretty $450. He happily sent us a donation for $50 - around 10% of the money he saved. We exchanged emails later and he explained he did not see it as costing him $50, but rather saving him $400. We loved that response - it’s the real is the glass half full or half empty mindset - very zen!
Others are people who have been lucky enough in life that money is not of real concern and so that like to give a little back by supporting things that they like.
Other people are just genuinely kind and supportive and we’ll never know why - but we salute you regardless!
But don’t you make loads of money from the YouTube adverts? is a question we get asked a lot, and the unfortunate answer is no. You can make a lot of money on the YouTube platform if your video’s are getting millions of views, However, the content that we produce is very specialist and so we get relatively low hit numbers despite being one of the major Audi DIY channels on YouTube - check our our channel and the view numbers for yourself!
YouTube as an average pays around $1 every 1,000 views from advertising revenue. So even a popular video on YouTube with 10,000 views will generate just $10 average - not even covering the cost for the time involved to film, edit, upload and process each video.
So YouTube - as wonderful as it is - does not provide a sustainable living for Audi DIY video producers - unfortunately!!!
But with the support of our loyal and dedicated viewers Total Technik can continue to bring you quality content - and we genuinely hope - help save you money along the way!
Thank you for your support and joining us on our journey!
